SBD (Shel Brodsgaard Denman Island) provides Portable Milling, Excavation and Small Truck Hauling Services to residents of Denman Island & Hornby Islands and surrounding communities.

Shel Brodsgaard has been a full time resident of Denman Island since 2006 and has been coming to Denman Island since the early 1970's when his grandparents, Karen and Joe Schmidt purchased the Red Cabin on the corner of Denman and East Road from Walter and Betty Schmidt in 1974. Shel and his family live on a 10-acre hobby farm with sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys, pigs, a dog, a cat and a horse enthusiast.
